The Rattigan Society for Gay and Lesbian Objectivists and Admirers of Ayn Rand was formed in the 1980s as a postal mailing list. In the 1990s, the Rattigan Society for Gay and Lesbian Objectivists added online communication, discussion, and advocacy to its mission. In the 2000s, the Rattigan Society for Gay and Lesbian Objectivists and Admirers of Ayn Rand serves members from around the world and continues in its mission to bring gay and lesbian Objectivists together and to show the gay and lesbian community that there is a rational alternative to the irrational views of the left-wing 'leaders' of the gay and lesbian community.
Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism is critical to happy and healthy gay and lesbian individuals.
